I understand the importance of getting friends and family under one for a celebration.
Full disclosure, this was my cousins wedding in Ireland, I just love this picture. It means a lot to me.

In the background is Steph's sister Beckie, and her husband Ed. I DJ'd their wedding in France on NYE 2008.

I love the start of the night as the atmosphere is building.
I was only playing it because I'd arrived early and eavesdropped the speeches. They was a story to match this song. I followed it with the Sisqo's - Thong Song - I'll say no more.

I'm doing Paul's brother Phil's wedding in 2016 - I'm hoping to see him return this favour.
It's genuinely not very often that I 'get caught' taking pictures. I don't want to interrupt people. I don't want them to pose. Unless it's this pose.
You can see there's very few people looking at the camera in these picutres.
I don't want people to think my weddings are non-stop madness. That simply isn't true. There's some carnage yes, but there's plenty of time for moments like this - a whole mixture of songs, pace and style.
Wedding Photographer David Stubb's kindly showed me this technique. It improved my understanding of flash and ambient light balance. I'm truly grateful.
He used my camera, it's like a DigitalRev - Pro Tog, Cheap camera challenge. In his hands one still gets great results.
