Your Wedding

There are some big wedding moments to look forward to and I use a combination of lighting, hosting and preparation to ensure everyone in the room is captivated and those once-in-a-lifetime moments are enjoyed by everyone.

I always have a big idea, a main focus, for the year. And for 2015 it is ensuring that Brides and Grooms have considered lots of different ideas. My fear is that they'd see something amazing in the future and regret that they never had the opportunity to do that on their day.
I know many of my suggestions and ideas will not apply. It simply won't fit with the couple and their vision of the day. And that's fine so long as that decision was made from a position of knowledge - a concision thought-out decision.
As I talk through numerous examples the concept will become clear. That there are quick little sets up we can incorporate and they may become treasured memories.

In 2014 my main focus was the energy of the tracks. A back to basics approach to DJ sets. Something really fundamental is the waves of energy throughout the night. The slight changes of pace or the big shifts in genre or tempo. They're the tracks that get the biggest crowd reactions.

CAKE CUT KISS

CAKE CUT KISS

I always meet the Bride and Groom before the wedding, this quick informal chat usually takes place one weekday evening about six to eight weeks before the big day.

It's not only a great opportunity for you to become more familiar with me, but it helps me to learn more about you and your expectations

During the meeting, phone calls and email exchanges I will have gauged the exact tone you wish for your wedding. Each aspect of the wedding has numerous possibilities. I will talk you through these and discuss choices to create your perfect wedding.

Knowing that your basic itinerary containing all your requirements is in place, you can relax a little and really look forward to your evening.

NAT AND MARK'S WEDDING AT THE RACQUET CLUB

From the first phone call, to the last email, we will build an understanding of what you want (and of what you don’t want) so that everyone will be happy.

FATHER AND DAUGHTER DANCE

FATHER AND DAUGHTER DANCE

A father and daughter dance or a mother and son dance is always a nice moment in the evening. I don't always get a picture because their set-up tends to bit a bit more spontaneous compared to the planned first dance, but I love this picture of Heather dancing with her 'hero'. That's the Foo Fighters - My Hero not Mariah Carey's - Hero.

Heather would want made clear.
